Best Hidden Object Games for Android

FIND OBJECTS

This has been a favorite of mine in this genre for many years, and it has tons of replay value, even if you’ve beaten the game in the past!

It starts out easy enough, listing a number and a category which some objects will fall under (not always as obvious as you might first assume).

For example, it will say something like “3 articles of clothing” and you then side scroll looking for any type of clothing you can spot.

If you get stuck on something like this, remember that it doesn’t have to be an isolated article of clothing, per se.

It can be a person, animal or other type of character who happens to be *wearing* some articles of clothing.

You’re welcome! ;-)

As you progress to the higher levels, you will have to find all objects for each type required before it will clear that group and display the next one (each level has more).

The progression is in five level intervals, which means you have to successfully complete levels 1 through 4 in order to make it to the bonus round (every fifth level is one of these) and then move on to level 6.

If you complete the first three levels and fail the fourth, you start back at number one. This remains true throughout the game.
Good luck!

HIDDEN FOLKS

This game is not free, but back when I bought it (several years ago) I found it to be reasonably priced. I believe it has gone up since then, but I’m unsure of how much more it costs now.

At the time this game was released, it was unique and unlike most other hidden object games I’d played before it.

It has set something of a new standard for the genre, with tons of similar games doing their best to emulate this style.

I feel like the black and white illustrated style this game is designed in makes it more challenging than its full color counterparts.

Each level is large and full of complex scenes within, requiring you to scroll in all directions and zoom in to find the objects you need, even if playing on a tablet screen.

Tons of the elements in this game are interactive, some only for the novelty and others as a necessary step to finding certain objects.

TINY BANG STORY

I will admit that I'm a sucker for a game that manages to capture my heart through its artwork and visuals.

Tiny Bang Story is a great example of a game that did just that.

This is one of those games that I have come back to over and over again and almost have memorized at this point.

I love the strange style of the art and how it makes you feel transported to some surreal (and yet also adorable) world, and the puzzles are just challenging enough to keep you engaged.

HIDDEN THROUGH TIME

I don’t think this game is totally free, but I know it was under three dollars back when I purchased it several years ago.

The only thing I’m not super stoked about is that you have to buy each additional world available in the game, after completing one.

Still, assuming the price hasn’t gone up significantly, I feel that it was a fair ask.

This game is quite similar to Hidden Folks, except for in color and with different themes of course.

Just like in that game, you will have to experiment with tapping on different elements to figure out which ones open, move or produce some type of revealing effect.

SEARCH KING

Love this old favorite of mine, good luck finding all of each icon in these huge shapes!

SRCH!

This is a relaxing style of hidden object game in which small icons are arranged to form larger images/shapes.

You will need to zoom in considerably to find the smallest sized objects!

I prefer to play this game on the hard setting, because the other modes seem to group all icons of the same type together, which I feel kind of defeats the whole point of a game like this and makes it way too easy.

FOUND IT!

I’ve been playing this hidden objects game a lot more recently and found it quite enjoyable.

The way the levels in this game are formatted is somewhat unique, or at least I haven’t encountered one quite like it before.

Each world is themed (Western, Jungle, etc) and has many levels that take place in the same scene.

The objects change somewhat, with new themes introducing a few new ones that are specific to it. Others are reused from past scenes as well.

What really stands out about this game is that the objects seem to be added dynamically *as you are playing*

What I mean by that is, say you have to find 5 wallets in the level you are playing.

You scroll and zoom around in the scene, finding one in the lowermost right corner.

Then you find a couple in other spots.

Next, you return to the lowermost right corner of the screen and find *another* wallet that *wasn’t* there last time when you found the last one in that same corner..

This means you will be moving around within scenes a *lot* each level, if you hope to find all of the objects needed to move on.

Another cool feature as you get higher up in levels within a scene is that some of the buildings become interactive, so that you can tap on them and it will open up a mini-scene of the building’s interior.

Each interior scene presents a puzzle with a few objects to find and then you must figure out how they interact with each other.

Really nice touch!
